Your Role

The role of Quality Engineer means that you will work closely with others in your team in close proximity to Saab's production. The tasks are varied, and you will work with problem-solving, coordination & driving cases/investigations & improvements, inspections of aircraft, as well as deviations in production.

You will also be part of the support team in the relevant production section and work closely with production leaders, production engineers, and production controllers.

Your Profile

We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe that you are a communicative person who enjoys working with different workgroups and functions. You like to work with others and drive projects and work forward independently as well as in a group.

We see that you:

• Have at least a high school diploma in a technical field or equivalent or more work experience.
• Have excellent collaboration skills
• Have good analytical skills and the ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Have knowledge of quality systems, quality management, and/or quality assurance
• Have experience in information retrieval in various computer systems

It is an advantage if you have:

• Practical experience of working in the aviation industry
• Knowledge of production processes
• Professional experience in quality engineering or quality assurance
• Experience in systematic problem-solving/root cause analysis

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
